We recently had the pleasure of delivering a truly bespoke garden renovation for a returning client, designed by the talented team at Haddon Studio. The project aimed to completely reimagine the outdoor space, combining structural ingenuity with beautiful landscaping.
The transformation began with a full rip-out of the existing garden. Over 40 cubic metres of concrete, supplied by Hanson Cement and pumped in by Bailey Concrete Pumping, formed the foundation of the new layout. A new external steel staircase, fabricated and installed by Phoenix Steel Ltd, was designed to the client’s exact requirements, offering both functionality and impact.
Careful planning ensured that new drainage was installed to prevent flooding, and vast lengths of cable were laid to support the installation of bespoke copper lighting. Electrical supplies were sourced from both CEF Durham and YESSS Electrical.
To frame the new space, 35–40 metres of closed board fencing were installed by our experienced joiners and groundworkers, complete with a new access gate and ironmongery.
The landscaping was elevated by carefully selected paving and floral planting, delivered from a specialist supplier in the Midlands. Key materials were sourced from JT Atkinsons in Sunderland and Jewson, while plant and machinery were provided by Allen Hire Ltd and Supply It Site Services.
With several trades on site at any given time, coordination was key. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of our trusted teams and suppliers, the project ran smoothly and was completed to the highest standard.
This renovation not only delivered on the client’s vision but also showcased the power of teamwork, expert craftsmanship, and great design.
